Last updated 6 October 2026TeaserKit is built to keep your data on your own computer. This page explains the little we do collect and why.
What we collect
- Purchase details. When you buy, Dodo Payments (our merchant of record) collects your name, email, billing country and payment details to process the order. We receive your name, email, country and order record. We never see or store your card details.
- Your licence key. When you download TeaserKit or activate it on a computer, your key is checked with Dodo Payments, and the activation records your computer's name so you can manage your three activations.
- Emails you send us. If you contact support, we keep the conversation to help you.
What stays on your computer
TeaserKit runs locally. Your projects, videos, uploaded logos and screenshots, settings and AI provider keys are stored only on your computer (in your TeaserKit folder and ~/.teaserkit). We don't receive them. When TeaserKit makes a video, it sends your prompts and project content directly from your computer to the AI provider you chose (and, if you enable it, to ElevenLabs for the voiceover), under that provider's own privacy terms.
What we don't do
- We don't sell or rent your personal data.
- We don't run advertising trackers on teaserkit.com.
- TeaserKit doesn't send usage analytics or your content to us.
Service providers
- Dodo Payments: payments, tax, invoicing and licence keys (privacy policy).
- Vercel: hosting for teaserkit.com, which keeps standard server logs.
How long we keep data
Order and licence records are kept as long as your licence is active and as required for tax and accounting. Support emails are kept for up to two years.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you, subject to records we must keep by law. Email hello@teaserkit.com and we'll reply within 30 days.
