Terms of Service

These terms cover your purchase and use of TeaserKit, a desktop app and set of AI agent skills that turn a product's website into a launch video on your own computer. By buying or using TeaserKit you agree to them. Questions: hello@teaserkit.com.

What you buy

• A lifetime licence, paid once. TeaserKit is a one-time purchase. There is no subscription, no renewal and nothing to cancel.
• Price. $49 USD, or $15 for the first 75 buyers during our launch offer. The price you pay is shown at checkout and never changes afterwards.
• Lifetime updates. Every future version of TeaserKit is included at no extra cost, for as long as we publish it.
• Up to three computers. Your licence key activates TeaserKit on up to three of your own computers.
• Delivery. Digital and instant. After payment you receive a licence key by email and download TeaserKit from teaserkit.com/download.
• Commercial use. You may use the videos you make for any purpose, including your own products, clients' products you're authorised to promote, and paid advertising.

How TeaserKit works, and what it costs to run

TeaserKit runs on your computer and uses an AI model you choose: your ChatGPT or Claude plan, or an API key from an AI provider (for example Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, xAI or Moonshot). Your use of that AI is between you and that provider, under its terms and pricing. We do not resell AI access and we never see your provider keys; they're stored only on your computer. On an API key, TeaserKit shows the cost of each video while it works and stops at a spending cap you set.

Acceptable use

TeaserKit is for making videos about products you own, or that you're authorised to promote. You agree not to use it to:

• impersonate any company or person, or make a video that suggests a brand's involvement or endorsement it hasn't given;
• make deepfakes, or use anyone's likeness or voice without their permission (TeaserKit's voiceovers use stock synthetic voices; it does not clone voices);
• capture or copy websites you don't own or aren't authorised to use;
• make content that is illegal, deceptive, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, or that infringes anyone's intellectual property;
• resell, share or publish your licence key or the TeaserKit software itself.

We may revoke a licence that is used in breach of these rules, without refund.

Refunds

If TeaserKit doesn't work for you, ask within 14 days of purchase for a full refund. See the Refund Policy.

Payments

Orders are processed by Dodo Payments, our merchant of record, which handles payment, sales tax and invoicing. Dodo Payments' buyer terms also apply to your purchase.

Your content and ownership

You own the videos you make with TeaserKit. Each video's music is generated for that video by TeaserKit, so no third-party music licence applies. TeaserKit uses HyperFrames, an open-source rendering framework, under its Apache-2.0 licence. You're responsible for the website content, logos and media you feed into TeaserKit, and for having the right to use them.

Disclaimers

TeaserKit is provided "as is". Results depend on the AI model you choose and on your product's website; we don't guarantee any particular outcome, number of views or sales. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim relating to TeaserKit is limited to the amount you paid for it.

Changes

We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version. Changes never affect the price you already paid or the lifetime updates included with your licence.
